SAN DIEGO, Calif.— Medical Marijuana Inc. (OTC Pink:MJNA) is pleased to inform shareholders and the general public that HempMedsPX—a corporate portfolio company of Medical Marijuana Inc. and the exclusive master distributor and contracted marketing company for CannaVest Corp. and Medical Marijuana Inc.— entered the "High CBD (cannabidiol) Award"-winning product at the High Times Medical Cannabis Cup in Seattle, Washington. Submitted by HempMedsPX on behalf of PhytoSPHERE Systems, the prototype product CBD Simple tested at a record 95.8% CBD, the highest CBD percentage ever documented at the Cannabis Cup.
All entries were tested by Analytical 360 and Northwest Botanical Analysis, the independent laboratories employed by the High Times Medical Cannabis Cup for this competition, and were further assessed by an expert panel for additional attributes such as taste, smell, and visual presentation. CBD Simple returned a CBD percentage of 95.8%, resulting in a sweep of the High CBD—Concentrates category. HempMedsPX received the confirmed test results earlier this week.
