DENVER, Colo. — In order to better educate the public and MMJ professionals, MJ Freeway is sponsoring a free webinar on Oregon's Measure 80.

This free webinar will be held by Paul Stanford, chief petitioner of Measure 80, and Amy Poinsett, co-founder and CEO of MJ Freeway. Oregon Measure 80 (http://www.vote80.org), is a statewide ballot initiative that seeks to replace the fight against marijuana with an approach of regulating and taxing marijuana for adult use.

Paul Stanford is the founder and president of The Hemp and Cannabis Foundation, a nationwide chain of clinics that help patients navigate their states' medical-marijuana programs to qualify for therapeutic marijuana. Paul has been active in the hemp and cannabis advocacy movement since the mid-1980s, creating hemp-product companies and leading the charge for broader acceptance and understanding of the value of hemp and cannabis to society -- economically and medically. Additionally, Stanford is the chief petitioner of Measure 80 and he will answer all questions about the impact of Measure 80 on the existing MMJ industry in Oregon. Some questions include:

  • Is there any provision in Measure 80 for current medical marijuana caregivers or growers who want to convert to growing cannabis for retail sale?
  • Will there still be medical marijuana collectives after Measure 80 goes into effect?
  • What impact do you see Measure 80 having on medical marijuana prices in Oregon?
  • What do you think the federal response will be if Measure 80 passes?
  • How much revenue do you think marijuana sales will generate under Measure 80 and what will the proceeds be used for?

This presentation will be valuable for all impacted by the MMJ industry.

Amy Poinsett is co-founder and CEO of MJ Freeway. A successful entrepreneur, Amy has founded, directed, managed, served as COO, and served as CEO of various high revenue earning technology start-up companies in the point of sale and e-commerce spaces. For the webinar, Poinsett will deliver opening comments and lead a Q & A that will bring out concerns from both the pro and con positions.

On hosting the informative webinar, Amy stated "We want to make this a 'position neutral' educational seminar on the effects of Measure 80 on existing MMJ industry in Oregon." And she continued by saying that, "This presentation will be valuable for all impacted by the MMJ industry."

Space is limited. Register for the free webinar on Oregon Measure 80 at:
